JLT and Big Noize Announce Tour of Iraq and Kuwait
Joe and bassist Phil Soussan (Ozzy Osbourne), guitarist Carlos Cavazo (Quiet Riot) and drummer Simon Wright (ACDC) will bring their band Big Noize to Iraq and Kuwait in September. This rock and roll invasion is designed to increase morale and solidify the united force that bonds most all human beings around the world: Music! The tour is organized by Jeff Thornton of Lone Wolf Entertainment and is part of the Multi National Corps Iraq program headquartered at Al Faw Palace in Baghdad, to bring entertainment to the Multi National forces stationed in Iraq and Kuwait. JLT in Free Concert at Waterfront Festival in Newburgh, NY
Labor Day weekend often marks the end of the summer in the USA and Joe will take the stage and rock the crowd at the 20th Annual Waterfront Festival Sunday August 31 at 8pm. He'll be joined by most of the musicians that also appear on his first live solo CD, LIVE IN GERMANY, slated for release in October. The line-up for the JLT band at the Waterfront Festival includes: Karl Cochran - Guitar, Michael Sorrentino - Drums, Carmine Giglio – Keyboards and Lenny Rocillo - Bass. Relive Freedom Fest: Radio Broadcast Features JLT and RPM
On July 6th of this past summer, USA radio station Classic Hits 92.9 WBPM presented Freedom Fest. It was an all day music festival with Joe and 9 other members of Rock and Pop Masters (RPM) performing their hits of the 60's the 70's and the 80's. The concert will be available for people with Internet access to listen to on August 30, 31 and September 1. 2nd Sunstorm Disc Now In Production
The production team responsible for the first SUNSTORM album has started the pre-production work for the recording of the second CD. Although the track listing for the CD is not 100% confirmed some of the titles that may appear on it include: Standing In The Fire, Forever Now, Save a Place in Your Heart, I Found Love and Walk On. Once again, Jim Peterik (ex Survivor, Pride of Lions) has offered these steller songs to the project: Say You Will, Tears On The Pages, Gutters of Gold. Tom and James Martin (Khymera, House of Lords) are also slated to contribute. Frontiers hopes to release the album in early 2009.
Video Interview Series with Living Legends
The staff of Living Legends Music (which includes legendary Deep Purple and Rainbow Tour Manager, Colin Hart) met up with JLT recently in Florida. Living Legends' Greg Rike says, "I have taken it upon myself to reconnect the artists (like Joe Lynn Turner) with their audience. My experience has shown that these legendary artists are still writing, recording and touring and they are a MUST listen. The fact that they have not gotten day jobs speaks for itself. Benefit for the Rock Hall and the John Entwistle Foundation: JLT scheduled to perform in this historic event.
Joe will join his good friends, former members of the John Entwistle Band, along with Blue Oyster Cult lead guitarist/vocalist Buck Dharma, September 20 at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary, North Carolina, USA. Additional artists slated to be on the bill will be announced in the future but there is already a huge "buzz" happening about this concert. Proceeds from the show will benefit both the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s educational outreach and the John Entwistle Foundation’s program of providing musical instruments and music lessons to disadvantaged youths through the public library systems in communities across the country. Joe returns to Russia and takes part in Classic Rock Nights in Germany

Additionally, For the first time some Classic Rock Nights shows will take place in in Germany this Fall. Onstage will be JLT along with Orleans and Jimi Jamison.
