Leslie West and Joe Lynn Turner have been friends for years. Not only do they work together on the Voices of Classic Rock project, but they also hooked up a few years ago for West's solo effort, "As Phat As It Gets." When Mountain (Leslie West, Corky Laing and Ritchie Scarlett) went into the studio to lay down the tracks for their latest album, "Mystic Fire," West called JLT up and asked him to sing on a couple songs. Joe can be heard on both "The Sea" and the title cut, "Mystic Fire." The album has just been released in the USA by Lightyear Entertainment and is expected to get some radio airplay.
